Truth for Tomorrow

The Rebirth of Israel.   This is the MOST obvious sign that we on the Earth are living in the last days (see Matthew 24 prophecy) and the single most important prophecy that occurred during during the last seventy-five years witnessed by the generation born approximately between the years of 1946 to 1964.

     The Prediction

     In the Old Testament, the prophet Isaiah said that the nation of Israel would be reborn in a day.  Recall that history proves the Jewish people were scattered across the Earth as Ezekiel said, and for nearly two thousand years did not live in their homeland.  Nearly every major Old Testament prophet predicted the rebirth of the state of Israel and Isaiah cements this prediction in Isaiah 66 8-9 "Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the point of birth and not cause to bring forth?”

     The Prediction Happened  

     On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion declared the establishment of a Jewish state which would be called Israel--this is fact of history.  The Jewish people were then officially permitted back into their homeland as British control ended.  Israel had ceased to be a nation for over two thousand years since the 70 AD scattering a few decades after the death of Jesus Christ.  This fulfilled prophecy is the single most important sign that we are living in the last days according to the fig tree prophecy which is discussed in our modern-day prophecy list.  Those of the generation known in America as the "baby boomers" were blessed to witness this miraculous Bible prophecy of Israel's rebirth!
